John Haines Ware III (August 29, 1908 – July 31, 1997) was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. John H. Ware was born in Vineland, New Jersey. He graduated from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania in 1930. He was a public utility executive with American Water, and a burgess of the borough of Oxford from 1956 to 1960. He was a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, 1961–1970, and chairman of the Pennsylvania Republican finance committee. He was a trustee of the Lincoln University and the University of Pennsylvania. The middle college house in Penn's Quadrangle is named in his honor. He was elected simultaneously as a Republican to the 91st and to the 92nd Congress by special election to fill the vacancy caused by the death of George Watkins, and was reelected to the 93rd Congress, (November 3, 1970 – January 3, 1975); He was not a candidate for reelection in 1974.
